Abstract : "A trip to Dalnegorsk" - The Dalnegorsk boron and metallic mines area are kown since the end of the eighties for good number of the world first class mineralogical samples of fluorite, pyrrhotite, ilvaite, datolite, danburite, calcite, apophyllite, chalcopyrite, quartz, hedenbergite, manganaxinite, galena, sphalerite, thometzekite, wedellite and whewellite. The mines are in full operation now and remain open to visit, as the members of the association "Spirifer" did. This article is an attempt to desccribe the metazlliferous skarns and boron geology, and give a rough desription of their mineralogy...
